What is a Seed List?
A seed list is a panel of email addresses used for inbox placement testing. Seeds are accounts at various MBPs where testers can check delivery results. The list represents the testing infrastructure.
Quality seed lists include: coverage across major and regional MBPs, addresses in different account states (new, established), variety of client configurations, and regular refresh to prevent stale representation.
Using seeds: add seed addresses to your sends, wait for delivery, then check results through the testing platform. Seed results indicate directional placement trends but don't perfectly predict actual recipient experience due to individual factors seeds can't replicate.
