Myth: False. Click tracking does not hurt inboxing when implemented properly. Standard tracking through reputable ESPs is normal and accepted. Billions of tracked emails reach inboxes daily.

What might cause issues is tracking through suspicious domains, URL shorteners associated with spam, or malformed tracking URLs. Proper tracking implementation causes no problems.

Use your ESP's standard tracking or properly configured custom tracking domains. The tracking mechanism itself is not penalized.
