Will biometrics replace passwords in email login?
Passwordless authentication is growing: fingerprint, face recognition, and hardware security keys replacing or supplementing passwords. Major providers (**Microsoft**, Google) support passwordless login.
Benefits: biometrics can't be phished (attackers can't steal your fingerprint remotely), eliminate password reuse risk, and improve user experience. Security and convenience align.
Limitations: biometric data compromise is permanent (can't change fingerprint), not all devices support biometrics, and fallback authentication may reintroduce vulnerabilities. Biometrics will supplement rather than entirely replace passwords.
