What is Yahoo’s “View in other inboxes” tab system?
Yahoo organizes mail into views that separate important from bulk messages:
Primary view: Messages Yahoo predicts are most important and wanted.
Other view: Bulk mail, promotions, newsletters, and automated messages.
Similar concept to Gmail tabs but with Yahoo's own classification algorithms and user preference learning.
Users can move messages between views, training the system on their preferences.
As with Gmail tabs, Other view is still delivery, not spam. It is organization, not rejection.
Different harbors sort cargo differently, but sorting is not impounding.
