Hard bounces indicate that the mailbox does not exist or cannot accept mail. Remove these addresses immediately. A hard bounce rate above two percent of a send is a critical signal of poor list hygiene and will trigger filtering or blocking. A hard bounce is a permanent rejection and repeated attempts will harm your reputation.
