What are honeytraps and seeded traps in purchased lists?
Purchased lists often contain pristine spamtraps which have never belonged to real people and exist solely to catch senders who mail without consent. They may also contain recycled spamtraps which are abandoned inboxes reactivated by providers to monitor stale lists. Both trap types harm domain reputation and lead to deeper filtering when triggered.
