How do ISPs detect poor hygiene?
Mailbox providers monitor engagement patterns, bounce signals, spamtrap activity, complaint behavior, and sending consistency. Complaints are tracked through Feedback Loops when they are available. Providers offer tools such as Google Postmaster Tools and Microsoft SNDS which reveal how they interpret your sending behavior. Large pockets of unengaged recipients act as warnings that your list contains stale cargo.
