Symptoms:
- Changes not visible everywhere
- Different results from different locations
- Control panel shows new value, external tools show old
Query authoritative directly:
- dig @ns1.yourprovider.com TXT yourdomain.com
- Shows current true value.
Query recursive resolvers:
- dig @8.8.8.8 TXT yourdomain.com
- Shows cached value.
- Compare: If different, caching is the cause.
Resolution: Wait for TTL to expire. The old TTL determines how long caches persist.
Cached copies may be outdated. Check the source registry directly for current values.
