What does a TLS-RPT report contain?

These JSON reports include key value pairs that describe key events:

• policy type which identifies the standard being checked for example mta sts
• policy result which shows the outcome such as validation failure

failure reason which provides the root cause such as certificate expired hostname mismatch or STARTTLS not supported

• sending mta ip which identifies the server that attempted the connection
• receiving ip which identifies the destination server
• Cipher suite negotiated.
• Authentication failures.
• Policy validation issues.
• Counts of messages affected.
• These collectively map out the health of your secure transport.
