What’s the ideal button size for mobile?
Apple's Human Interface Guidelines recommend 44x44 pixels minimum for tap targets. This uis the widely accepted standard. Buttons smaller than this cause frustration and mis-taps. On mobile-heavy audiences, go larger: 48px or even 56px height.
Beyond height, consider: Width-full-width buttons on mobile are easier to tap than narrow ones. Spacing-adequate room between tappable elements prevents accidental clicks. Padding-internal padding makes the button feel substantial and increases tap area.
Generous button sizing respects mobile reality. Users tap with thumbs while walking, cooking, or distracted. Tiny buttons require precision they don't have. When in doubt, make buttons bigger. No one ever complained that a CTA was too easy to tap.
