What are micro-CTAs (survey, rating, feedback)?

Micro-CTAs are small, low-commitment actions embedded in emails-typically surveys, ratings, or quick feedback mechanisms. Instead of driving to a landing page, recipients can engage with a single click directly from the email.

Common types: Star ratings (rate your experience 1-5). Thumbs up/down (was this helpful?). NPS prompts (how likely to recommend?). Quick polls (single-click preference). Emoji reactions for sentiment.

Micro-CTAs lower the barrier to engagement. A full survey on a landing page gets low completion; a single-click rating in email gets responses. Use micro-CTAs to gather feedback, gauge sentiment, or let recipients self-segment by interest. The data gathered from simple clicks can inform more targeted future sends.
