A pristine spam trap is an email address created purely to catch unsolicited mail. It has never belonged to a real person and has never been used for signups.

Any message sent to it signals harvesting scraping or buying lists.

It is the most dangerous trap because it proves the sender acquired addresses without consent.

It is the naval equivalent of a decoy vessel floating silently to reveal reckless captains.
