What is CC vs. BCC?

CC (carbon copy) sends a visible copy of the message to additional recipients. BCC (blind carbon copy) hides those recipients from everyone else.

Think of CC as openly inviting several crew members to a meeting, while BCC is sending quiet instructions to each officer privately without announcing it on the deck.
