Does switching domains reset reputation?

Partially True. New domains start with no reputation, which differs from bad reputation. But providers evaluate new domains cautiously, and some associations with old domain may persist through shared infrastructure or brand connection.

Domain change without fixing underlying problems just shifts the problem. If list quality or practices caused issues, they will damage the new domain too.

New domains require careful warmup and establishment of positive reputation. They are not instant reset buttons but fresh starts requiring proper management.
