What are phishing landing pages?

Phishing landing pages are fake websites where victims enter credentials or information. They mimic legitimate login pages with copied branding, similar URLs, and familiar forms. Data entered goes to attackers.

Technical implementation: attackers clone target website appearance, host on their infrastructure or compromised sites, and configure forms to capture and forward data. Sophistication ranges from obvious fakes to pixel-perfect replicas.

Detection clues: URL doesn't match expected domain, missing HTTPS or certificate warnings, slight visual inconsistencies, and unexpected requests. Browser extensions and URL reputation services help identify known **phishing** pages.
