What is the difference between simulated and live inbox tests?

Simulated tests analyze your email content and configuration to predict placement without actually sending. They check authentication, scan content, and estimate spam likelihood.

Live tests send actual messages to real mailboxes and observe where they land. They measure what actually happens, not what might happen.

Simulated tests are faster and risk-free but cannot capture engagement-based filtering or real-time reputation signals.

Live tests show ground truth but require sending and may not reflect your entire audience.

Simulated testing studies the charts. Live testing sails the route.
