Common options include daily digest, weekly summary, immediate notifications, or monthly roundup. Different content types may warrant separate frequency choices. Subscribers receiving exactly what they want at their chosen frequency engage better.
Implementation requires infrastructure to track and honor preferences. Frequency settings must actually affect what subscribers receive. Offering choices you cannot deliver damages trust more than not offering them.
