What’s the difference between invalid and undeliverable?
Invalid means the address fails structural or syntax rules such as RFC five three two two or points to a domain that cannot process mail. Undeliverable means the address exists structurally but the server rejects the delivery through five xx permerrors such as five five zero User unknown or four xx transient errors preventing delivery. Invalid is structural. Undeliverable is operational.
