How do unsubscribe links interact with consent withdrawal?

Unsubscribing stops marketing communications but does not automatically erase historical tracking data. Consent withdrawal applies to future processing, not past events.

If someone wants deletion of past data they must submit a separate privacy request. Unsubscribe is a communication preference, not a full data erasure instruction.
