What is Validity Sender Score and how accurate is it?
Validity Sender Score rates IP addresses from 0 to 100 based on sending behavior observed across Validity's network of partners and data sources.
The score aggregates complaint rates, unknown user rates, spamtrap data, and sending patterns. Higher scores indicate better reputation.
Accuracy has limits. Sender Score reflects Validity's data, not what Gmail or Microsoft actually see. A high Sender Score does not guarantee inbox placement, and a moderate score does not mean you will be blocked.
The score is most useful as a directional indicator and early warning system. Declining scores suggest problems worth investigating, even if the exact number does not predict specific provider behavior.
Sender Score is one inspector's rating among many. It provides useful signal, but each harbor ultimately makes their own assessment based on their own observations.
