What are organizational domains in DMARC?
An organizational domain is the core domain that sits above all subdomains. DMARC determines this by referencing the Public Suffix List a global list maintained by Mozilla that prevents alignment from matching public suffixes such as com or co dot uk. For example tidalmail.com is the organizational domain for news dot tidalmail dot com. Alignment checks use this boundary when relaxed mode is enabled.
