What’s “wait until condition is true” logic?
Wait until condition is true logic pauses an automation flow until specified conditions are satisfied, rather than waiting a fixed time:
Examples:
"Wait until customer opens previous email, then send follow-up." "Wait until customer visits website, then send relevant offer." "Wait until payment clears, then send access credentials."
Benefits:
Messages arrive at optimal moments rather than arbitrary schedules. Flows adapt to individual customer pace. Resources are not wasted on customers who never meet conditions.
Considerations:
Set maximum wait times to prevent customers from being stuck indefinitely. Define fallback paths for those who never meet conditions.
Wait-until logic creates responsive automation. Instead of marching through steps on a clock, flows move when customers are ready.
