Do B2B senders not need consent?
Myth: False. B2B senders still need consent under many regulations. GDPR applies to B2B without exception. CASL requires consent or existing business relationship. Even CAN-SPAM requires functioning unsubscribe.
Some jurisdictions treat B2B more permissively than B2C, but consent requirements do not disappear entirely. "Business email" is not a regulatory exemption.
Even where legally permissible, unsolicited B2B email generates complaints and poor engagement. Permission based approaches work better for B2B just as they do for B2C.
