Is using “Re:” in the subject line a good tactic?
No. Using "Re:" to fake a reply is deceptive and counterproductive. Recipients see through it quickly, and such tactics violate CAN-SPAM's prohibition on misleading headers.
Deceptive tactics may boost initial opens but destroy trust and increase complaints. Long term damage far exceeds any short term gain.
Write honest subject lines. Build relationships through valuable content rather than tricks. Deception is not a sustainable strategy.
