What is an acceptable bounce rate?

A healthy total bounce rate is below 2%. More importantly your hard bounce rate should be below 0.5%. Anything above five percent signals serious data quality issues. Mailbox providers watch bounce rates closely. High rates erode trust and increase the likelihood of future filtering.
