How do ISPs report spam complaints differently from bounces?
Spam complaints are sent through Feedback Loops. They do not appear as bounces. They appear as separate complaint events. Not all mailbox providers offer these reports.
Bounces come from the receiving server in real time and always include an SMTP reason code.
