How reliable is the data from Postmaster Tools and SNDS?

Postmaster Tools and SNDS are accurate for the data they provide but neither tool shows everything. Gmail hides user level complaints. Microsoft may not reveal details about trap hits. Both systems have reporting delays.

They are reliable sources for directional insight rather than complete diagnostics.
