Transparency requirements mean disclosing that you use predictive models, what data feeds them, and how predictions influence subscriber experience. Your privacy policy should explain predictive segmentation in understandable terms.

Subscribers have the right to object to profiling. When someone opts out of predictive targeting, you must honor that request and exclude them from algorithm driven segments. This may mean falling back to explicit preference based targeting.

Automated decision making that significantly affects individuals faces additional scrutiny. If a predictive model determines credit eligibility, employment opportunity, or other consequential outcomes, GDPR requires human review safeguards.

Accuracy obligations apply to predictive data. If your model infers attributes that turn out to be wrong, subscribers may have rights to correction. Inaccurate predictions that lead to poor experiences reflect badly on your brand even without legal consequences.
