How do I find out if my IP or domain is on a blocklist?

Several tools let you check your IP or domain against multiple blocklists simultaneously. MXToolbox offers a free blacklist check that queries dozens of lists at once. MultiRBL provides similar comprehensive scanning.

For specific lists, visit them directly. Spamhaus has a lookup tool at check.spamhaus.org. Barracuda provides lookup at barracudacentral.org. SpamCop offers checking through their website.

Many deliverability monitoring services like GlockApps, 250ok, and Validity include automated blocklist monitoring that alerts you when listings occur.

Check both your sending IPs and your domains. Some lists track domain reputation separately from IP reputation. Also check any URLs you include in messages against URI blocklists.

Regular monitoring catches problems before they compound. Know your status before your recipients discover it for you.
