Do all countries follow GDPR?

No. Only EU member states are directly bound by GDPR. However, GDPR applies to processing EU residents' data regardless of processor location, giving it global reach for many businesses.

Other countries have their own privacy laws: LGPD (Brazil), POPIA (South Africa), PDPA (Singapore), etc. Some are GDPR influenced; others differ significantly.

Know which laws apply to your specific audience. Do not assume GDPR either applies everywhere or only applies in EU. Jurisdiction depends on where your recipients are located.
