What does a DMARC record look like?

The two required tags are v=DMARC1 and p=. A record with only these tags is valid although not very helpful.

A typical monitoring record looks like:

v=DMARC1 p=none rua=mailto:harborwatch@tidalmail.com

Additional tags such as ruf adkim aspf sp and pct add further control.
