What is greylisting?
Greylisting is a temporary rejection technique where the receiving server tells the sender to try again later. Legitimate servers will retry. Many spam systems do not.
Greylisting helps filter out low quality mail systems.
It is the equivalent of telling an unfamiliar ship to circle the harbor once before it docks.
